Are the individual shelves adjustable?

Yes. Each shelf can be adjusted up or down in 35mm increments, allowing you to customise the spacing to suit items of different heights.

Do I need to attach the shelving units to a wall?

For additional stability and safety, we recommend securing the shelving units to a suitable wall, particularly when storing heavy or unevenly distributed loads. Wall fixings for solid walls are supplied. For other wall types, suitable fixings should be used depending on the wall construction.

Are the shelving units easy to assemble?

Yes. The shelving units feature a boltless design, so no nuts or bolts are required. The components simply slot together and can be securely assembled using a rubber mallet, making the assembly process quick and straightforward.

Do I need to treat the MDF boards?

No. The MDF shelf boards are supplied ready to use and do not require any treatment before assembly. However, MDF is not moisture-resistant, so we recommend keeping the shelving in a dry environment. If used in damp or humid environments, we recommend treating the MDF shelf boards with a high-quality wood varnish or sealant for additional protection.

Do the shelving units need fixing together?

No. Each shelving unit is designed to be freestanding and can be used independently. When placing multiple units side by side, they can be secured together using nuts and bolts or cable ties for additional stability. Wall fixing is also recommended for added safety, particularly when storing heavy or unevenly distributed loads.

Can extra shelves be added?

Yes. Additional shelf levels can be supplied to increase the storage capacity of your shelving unit. Extra shelves and the required components are available directly from us. Please contact us for further information and to order additional shelves.
