Description

The Klime-Ezee Light Weight Mobile Safety Steps provide a safe and practical solution for accessing elevated areas in warehouses, stores, offices, archives and other workplace environments. Designed to be lighter and easier to manoeuvre than the Klime-Ezee Industrial Range, these mobile safety steps combine a strong tubular steel construction with a 300kg safe working load.

Manufactured using 19mm tubular steel, the Light Weight Range is fully welded and supplied ready for use. The 60° angle of ascent provides comfortable access, while the large 550mm wide x 400mm deep working platform provides a stable area when working at height. A rear toe plate is fitted to the platform for additional security.

The steps are fitted with mobile castors, allowing them to be easily moved into position. Depending on the model, the steps feature either plunger-operated castors or a central braking system.

Available in five platform heights from 500mm to 1500mm, the range offers working heights from approximately 1.5m to 3.25m. A choice of punched metal, PVC-covered or rubber-covered treads is also available.

    The Safe Working Load (SWL) varies depending on the model. Please refer to the individual product specification for the maximum load capacity. The stated SWL should not be exceeded.

    How do the mobile warehouse steps stay securely in position?

    Each set of mobile steps is fitted with a locking mechanism to secure the steps firmly in position during use. Depending on the model, this may be operated using spring-loaded wheels or a handle-operated wheel mechanism. The locking system must always be engaged before using the steps.

    Can the steps be moved when someone is standing on them?

    No. The steps must be stationary and securely locked in position before use. They should never be moved while occupied.

    What type of flooring can the steps be used on?
